Anyhow, I had watched the video. Well, I'm watching the video again this morning, and this time it has me all "feely." I must have been quite tired last night. Awesome song both times!!! As it will be the next time, the time after that; and so on and so forth!

Fuck Ive searched for this song for so long. Dude you brought me out of the darkest depths, I was stuck in an abusive home and music and movies were some of my only escapes when I wasn't in school or somewhere else that kept me away from home. Listening to this song as loud as possible in my headphones as I'd mow the lawn and sing along is one of my core memories growing up from that. Thank you

Hope Jakob Nowell can stay clean. I feel for him having half the world fawning over the greatness of his dad. He will be greater than his dad ever was by simply staying clean for his family. His dad was talented but the degree of selfish self-centeredness it takes to shoot dope with a baby back at home is heinous. We need to stop romantizing addiction and treating junkies who get clean like veterans who heroically survived a war that we entirely started. It's not cool to have some junkie backstory. We deserve no more pats on the back than purse snatchers who stop mugging women.
